Intermedia Nb.2
On Friday 30 November, at KF in Arad the latest number from intermedia was lunched. Intermedia 2 is a magazine created by the new media group from Arad, kinema ikon.
Mistik in collaboration with Flo’ from Timisoara worked together to create some illustrations for the magazine.
Flo’ made the text and Mistik the graphics. To know more about Intermedia I have added a text by Mr. George Sabau one of the founders of the kinema ikon group.
Metadacii
We restarted an old project, which is almost 6 years in the making. The name of the project is “Metadacii”, it started as a concept for a manga ( Japanese comics ) with became very elaborate, now having a big script and many ideas for some other media. We hope to finish this project as soon as possible, but we never know because it is a personal project so we are working at it in own free time.
The picture is one of two previews, we will keep you up to date with this project.

Otaku Magazine Nb. 4
Mistik just finished the illustration for the upcoming Otaku Magazine . The image presents two squid bosozokus .
Otaku Magazine Nb.3
“Invazia Creaturilor” ( Creature Invasion ) is a event which will launch Otaku Magazine no.3, the event will take place at the 115 gallery from Bucharest, on 13th of October 2007 at 16:00. Mistik was invited at the event among other artists from Romania to participate at the event and the workshops. Other details can be seen on the poster of the event or you can visit www.otaku.ro or www.otakumag.com. We will keep you up to date with further news regarding this event in the next days.

We are back with an update of the Otaku magazine as we have already promised. A simple overall view of the main event.

Standard Lightweight Tank GITS wip
Yesterday Mistik started working on a fan art illustration from GITS ( Ghost In The Shell ). The illustration is presenting the final battle between major Motoko Kusanagi and the Standard Lightweight Tank from the first movie, here are some wip pictures.
Urme Anthology
On 31 October 2007at Carturesti bookstore in Bucharest, MNLR ( National Museum of Romanian Literature ) launched the maps and anthology from the project URME (Urban Remembrance and Memory of Europe) .This is a presentation of the project:URME (in Romanian language means footprints, tracks) proposes the reactivation of the urban memory of seven European cities, through multidisciplinary studies that re-create the cultural atmosphere at different moments in their historical development. Using contemporary methods, URME intends to signalize urban sites as part of the literary and cultural history of the city.The action will involve a large number of students and researchers, interested in or professionally focused on studying urban literature and cultural history.
Visuals
On 19 of January 2008 at Jazz Club in Timisoara Mistik and Flo’ added visuals to the music of DUDU ( anonim tm ), K-LU ( van graph ) and NEWGOTTI at the “Breaking the Law” party. Here is a peek at the visuals and the poster.
